History – LO I can look at activities that happened at the beach 100 years ago.

Thursday 19th May 2022

Today we looked at a seaside image that showed different activities that happened on the beach 100 years ago. We discussed the changing huts, Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides on the beach. Children then worked in small groups to act out the different activities they could do on the beach in the past. The children videoed each other and saved on their seesaw accounts so we could later watch as a whole class. Apologies the photos below are a little blurry as they are photos taken from the videos. We had great fun this afternoon communicating our history knowledge through drama and role play!
